There is a myth and slander that Morrissey fans are a dwindling minority. However, anyone who witnessed his most recent tour can see that myth disintegrate, as the reality shows that Morrissey is as loved and adored as he always has been. By millions!
Trouble is, millions of fans are everyday people. Celebrity “ex-fans” who have access to mainstream media, and other large public platforms, are assuming they can speak for us. Ironically, they are the true minority.
Letters to Morrissey is for fans to set the record straight. But many fans are telling me they are a bit stumped about what to write. So I hope the following questions can get your juices flowing.

• What is it that resonates between you and him?
• What is it that keeps bringing you back for more?
• How has he inspired you?
• What is it about his songs that inspire you? Strengthen you? Entertain you?
• What cause has he inspired you to pursue?
• Do you have a story about when you met him?
• Do you have a story about how you discovered him?
• Have you got any tattoos that are inspired by him?
• Do you want to share art that you have made, that he has inspired? Poetry? Creative writing?
• Do you have photos you have taken of him, want to share?
• Maybe you have even made a video?
