My friend Joy Lentz let me borrow a Meat is Murder cassette. My friends Paul Schwartz and Charles Richards used to play The Smiths on the way to the beach to go surfing. My other friend Tami Griffin had a mix tape with How Soon Is Now on it. I saw the Suedehead video and bought Viva Hate. I used to have poster of Morrissey standing in front of the picture of a boy eating a ice cream bar hanging in my room. Unfortunately I was arrested a couple of time for shoplifting. I was a shy kid. I had Rebel Without A Cause on vhs. I admire Morrisseys wit and observations.
