Letters to Morrissey is (and has been I suppose) taking an indefinitely long break. 2020 has given most of us a right kicking, and so you take the obvious hint and do what you have to do.
I want the site to remain as a testament to the reality that Morrissey’s fans support him full and wholeheartedly, and that the naysayers are obviously full of shit. For what it’s worth, the open letters and interviews and messages of support will remain available for as long as this technology lets it.
I have no idea if Morrissey ever read a word, but that was never the primary focus. The open letters, and everything else, bear witness to the truth about how true fans have never abandoned Morrissey.
Thank you to everyone who contributed and supported in the kindest and most generous of ways. Maybe the universe will shift yet again one day, and I will turn the cogs here once more.
