Discovered The Smiths when I was 14, and still love Morrissey now at 49! Spent hours in my black bedroom with pictures all around my room and a framed photo of him by my bed. My love for Morrissey will stay with me until my last breath on this wretched planet. I remember taping their performances on The Tube and other music shows, cutting out paper clippings from NME, Sounds, Melody Maker and even Smash Hits!! I always felt like their songs were written for me, the words meant so much to me and he always knew how to explain how I felt. There will never be another band that has such a profound effect on your life.
